Knitting is serious stress relief. At the rate I'm going stress wise, it wouldn't surprise me if I finish the last sleeve for my sweater tonight ;)

If your sweater isn't enough, have you seen this CUTE pattern for mittens? =P

Ooo that's a really unique pattern, Cheri.

I have about half of my sleeve done and nearly my whole paper written which has really helped. It's just been one of those days where people keep dumping more and more stressful things on you to where you can't take it any more!

I'd love to hear yalls thoughts on stress...how do you tend to deal with it? (either spiritually or otherwise) any advice in general? I know I can't hide from it forever, but tonight it was sooo nice to escape to starbucks with my knitting and my homework, away from the stress-causing people!

awww, i'm sorry you're under so much stress, but i'm glad you have an outlet for it!

i think this kind of outlet or escape is good, that's one of my main tactics in dealing with stress...sometimes with family things when i know i can't handle the stress i will just not let it get to me (mostly in cases where people are being immature/annoying and i can control my level of annoyance with them. if i deal with them patiently as i would a five-year-old [instead of expecting an adults behavior and being disappointed], i find i end up a lot happier. ;D)just settling and concentrating on my job is a big thing, too - like your paper. good job, girl!

(hopefully this will post...i've been trying to comment since you posted this last night!)
