Wow, I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I've posted! It's been quite a busy few weeks so here's a little catch-you-up in pictures before we return to our (hopefully) regular schedule of posting ;)

We've been catching up on a lot of projects around here, painting etc. and one of those has been getting our pond fixed! It makes the patio such a wonderful place to do homework (of which there has been LOTS) in the early morning before things get too hot outside.

Taking a few "last" pictures of the four of us before the wedding. We had a great time together and took about 300 pictures ;)

A violin recital! This was the first time I've had one that wasn't at our house. One of my student's mom's arranged for us to have it at their church, which was great because I didn't have to do any set up or clean up! Those who wanted to met at the ice cream place afterward for a "reception" ;)

Helping Matthew move to his apartment. It's been very odd not having him around (we miss all the crazy noise he makes and him singing in his room, but hey, at least he doesn't have a piano so he comes home to play ours). Over all I think its been a good thing, and James and I are preparing to be the only "kids" left at home in just two weeks. I had lots of fun a few weeks ago going over and cooking with Matthew. We made sweet potato muffins, spaghetti sauce for him to freeze and brownies just for fun ;)

This cute, cuddly little dog who curled up on my lap for a nap has also been a little brat recently. Long story short, she ate an earring (and almost a second one which I thankfully pulled out of her mouth before she could) and had to have surgery to get it out. She was pretty miserable for a few days but bounced right back. Mom and Dad have also been taking an agility class with her which all of them really like and its helping her learn to be more obedient than Cooey was ;)

Fishing with James early in the morning. Well, he fished, I curled up in a chair and did homework.

Playing Mr. Potato Head with a two year old and a twenty year old ;) This is the daughter of one of the ladies I work with. She's been letting me observe Sara for my case study for the child development class I'm taking this summer.

And look! I have baby tomatoes!!! I have REALLY missed having a garden since we moved to this house but mom is talking about putting in one in the fall. We'll see. Until then, my tomato plant is THRIVING in a pot! In the mean time we've been taking advantage of the local farmer's market and eating lots of fresh tomatoes, squash and zucchini.
So that's a bit of what I've been up to and enjoying these last few weeks. I promise I haven't dropped off the face of the earth ;)
