Dear Shelley,
From the moment I walked into that room in Indy and recognized your purple jacket hanging there, I had no idea what a fun ride I was in for :) Knowing you has been such a treat; you have challenged me, made me laugh and made me so grateful for someone to grow into being on the same page with. Here are just a few of my memories and favorite things about you...

I will never forget how obsessive you were/are about brushing your teeth! For the longest time after that I felt like I should brush my teeth before even talking to you on the phone :D
And I don't think anyone could know you and not love how mischievous you can be :)

You are definitely represented by a smiley face in my mind. I love your cheerful, exuberant spirit. (I think its interesting that this is only one of two pictures I have of completely different times of you playing with your food and making smiley faces!)

You have been an inspiration to me in your piano arrangements. I'm so excited to finally get to learn how to start improvising too!

It's so much fun to do goofy stuff with you...like im each other from opposite sides of my bed just cause that's how we're used to talking ;)

I think its so cool that you like Dr. Seuss books too. And I had so much fun taking you to the library and showing you around where I work....and of course checking out EVERY Dr. Seuss book they had ;)

I've so loved having you and Cheri to talk to about violin stuff!
I hope this will be a wonderful year for you, filled with much growth and many happy memories!!! *hugs*
