Confusing? Not us surely...
Yesterday at Khols I found the most ADORABLE shirt, and since I'm one of those people that has to wear something new as soon as possible because I love it so much, it was perfect timing for today to be 61 degrees in NC. But that's not the important part of this post. As I noticed my attitude wearing my new shirt, it struck me: Why on earth are women so confusing? The majority of the time I wear something new I would prefer it not be noticed. I already feel a bit unlike myself and having it pointed out makes me feel even more uncomfy. And yet there are a few times I think "Awww, they didn't notice my new shirt and how absolutely adorable it is". How we must drive every one crazy with our mood swings or whatever you'd like to call it! So what's the difference? Is there some logic behind it or is it completely random? Could it be that I don't want it pointed out if its something I'm unsure of or feel uncomfortable about but don't mind people noticing as long as its something that's very "me"? Or is it that I really am just fickle and can never make up my mind?!!! Either way I think I'm just going to enjoy my Katie-ish shirt on this one spring day before it goes back to being winter for a while. Perhaps an afternoon at the lake is in order...any of you want to join me in the sunshine? ;)

lol, i think everyone has some conflicting emotions on most things that are bound to be confusing...but women do get pegged for it most often. :) i could easily imagine that the confusion in this particular case might stem from the vastly different attitudes held by the people who would comment on your shirt - of course you want the people who love to see you in a shirt so definitely "you" to tell you so...the ones who just want to keep tabs on the clothes you wear naturally spoil some of your joy. that makes sense to me! (and i may be totally wrong, too...:D)
i see now why you're feeling katie-ish ;)- wish i could be there to see it!
As the only male (i think) who reads your blog, I feel obligated to tell you, in general, women are confusing! So dont worry, you are perfectly normal!!! :)
BTW now I want to see your shirt when you get home! haha
lol hmm i think we are pretty confusing but we make sense to us because your situation sounds exactly like what goes through my head allll the time, confusing? heck no, perfectly rational!

Definitely ;) It's supposed to be warm again this weekend so I'll take a picture of it then and post it for yall. And wow, I posted on a subject that got all of you to comment!
